Case management services work together with DRA's Education Program, creating a comprehensive approach tailored to your unique goals and needs.
Note: While our services are designed with deaf refugees, immigrants, and asylum‑seekers in mind, we are open to serving all deaf community members in Monroe County.

Sign up for health insurance and health-related programs including Medicare, Medicaid, and other health benefits. We assist with applications, understanding your options, adjusting your coverage, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
We offer advocacy support for medical appointments on-site or through video calls. Receive referrals to medical providers with ongoing support throughout the process. DRA's Health Literacy taught by our instructors can further strengthen your ability to self-advocate.
Find and secure housing that meets your needs. Get support with applications for affordable housing programs like Section 8, understanding lease agreements, navigating the rental or home‑buying process, and connecting with other housing resources.
Get connected to immigration legal services and receive support with the naturalization process and paperwork. You can also strengthen your understanding of U.S. civics and practice for the citizenship with our instructors.
Thanks to our extensive network of legal resources, connections with attorneys and legal services experienced in working with deaf clients and DRA caseworkers. Receive on-site support at court appearances or legal appointments as needed.
Explore employment opportunities through our connections with local workforce development organizations. You can also develop your skills through DRA's Job Readiness training with our instructors.
Access our network of mental health services with counselors and therapists accessible in ASL and strengthen your emotional well-being through DRA's Mental Health workshops led by our instructors.
Understand documents, forms, mail, and other paperwork through translation and interpretation services. Make informed decisions about important documents with language support.
Apply for social services such as SNAP, HEAP, Social Security, and other qualifying financial assistance programs. DRA's instructors also teach Financial Literacy, designed to boost your confidence in managing money.
Peer engagement is hosted weekly, with meals included, in a safe space to foster a community and to develop peer support through social interactions. Meaningful connections are made through shared experiences and recreational activities.
